The Turkey is in the oven..
All the casseroles are put together...
The Cherry Salad is in the fridge...stole the recipe from my buddy at a private blog...LOVE IT BY THE WAY WOMAN with many children and a grandbaby...
Pumpkin pie is made...
Eggs are boiled...
celery and onion chopped for dressing...
fresh green beans have been snapped.....
squash has been cooked....
rolls are rising..

Tomorrow morning at 7 am I need to ...

  1. Make coffee very strong...
  2. take my medicine...
  3. drink coffee...
  4. make several pies...
  5. make rolls.....
  6. take turkey out of oven BEFORE I make coffee....(its on a timer thank goodness)
  7. cook fresh veggies....
  8. peel 10 lbs of potatos
  9. boil potatos....
  10. heat up casseroles....
  11. make gravy...
  12. make deviled eggs
  13. make iced tea....
  14. mash potatos
  15. take a shower...
  16. fix hair (iffy)
  17. makeup..(iffy)
  18. clean matching clothes on...(again with the iffy)
  19. set the table...
  20. Make sure there is NO inappropriate music on Wayne's IPOD playlist that he made for tomorrow...ONLY holiday music :)
  21. Greet my family at noon.....hug my brother and sil and kiss my neice... :)

It is 2:30 am and I MUST GO TO BED NOW...

  1. Happy Thanksgiving girl! I could have wrote a very similar blog last night myself! I cook my turkey over night too, made our greenbean casserole last night. Got up early this morning and made homemade noodles and my homemade stuffing and of course gravy. Now I'm waiting on the casserole to heat up and then we'll be packing it all up and heading to my friend Jen's house to eat! :)

HAHA you sound like me yesterday Kelly...especially the iffy parts...by the time i was done cooking and cleaning...I got some clothes on...nope they didn't match..just lounge clothes..I wanted to be comfy...haha I didn't put makeup on and i threw my hair up in a clippy... I had totally had in mind to get all dolled up...but I was worn out and it just didn't happen...LOL

    I did manage to at least get a shower..HA!

    lol@ making sure Wayne has no inappropriate music on the IPOD...too funny
