lazy nappin Sundays........

Today has been the most relaxing day ever!

We got up and went to church this morning....it was nice and quiet....

Came home and i made some sides to go with the ham I put in the oven before I left...

We ate...and about 2:30? I decided to take a nap....I have only been awake for 3o minutes....lol...

Now thats my kind of Sunday :)

So I saved this about 4 hours ago....lol...I actually woke up from my nap about 7:30 pm.....

And then I remembered that I still had some WORK work to do...

I had to make a chart of sorts that shows how many grants we have applied for and who applied for them...I did a Christmas tree with presents underneath with all the employees names on them....and stockings...
As they apply for a grant they will take an ornament (stocking, holly leaf, bow, bells, and other ornament thingys....thye will put their name on it...with the name of the grant they applied for and the money amount they applied for~then stick it on the tree :) Our goal is $1.4 million.....

This is my last week there as there are just not the funds for me and a new accountant but thats fine because my other employer REALLY wants me 5 days a week....so there i will go......

I am headed off to bed now.... It is really late and I really have to get up early in the morning....

I have lots to do....

Still working on the schedule for the Thanksgiving dinner and the make ahead stuff...PLUS I just found out yesterday that my brother and his wife and Chrissy are not coming...They are having Tgiving at their house for her family....Mom aint really happy about that and I got the brunt of that "bitchin" but what can ya do? And apparently bro does not know any of that yet BUT when he finds out it will be a little strained at his house but I will not even go there cause I dont want to cause trouble over there and he would probably rather no one did....

At our house will be Cassey, Wayne, me, our two kids, my parents, possibly Kale and his mom (sis in law - Chris's ex wife), and possibly Courtney and her parents...if they decide to come...not sure about that....I am thinking about who else we can invite...I know I know someone who needs somewhere to go for Thanksgiving and has no invite...and no family....or estranged family...come join us....I will ask Wayne if there is anyone at his work that needs somewhere to go :) We will see....

ok I REALLY have to go to bed now..

Nite Nite ALL!

Its goign to be monday in 20 minutes and I SO hate Mondays!

Verse for the week when you get stressed out below:

Psalms 34:4 - "I sought the Lord; and he heard me and delivered me from my fears."

  1. Glad you had a nice relaxing sunday. I love days like that.
There were years when I had my little family and 3 single men at our table.. lol. I would always invite the single neighbors ( still do) and now that our extended family are basically gone it's just me, paul, my girls and our neighbor who is actually closer then family. It's nice.

  2. If the kids still lived in TX I'd send them up to your house for T-giving. I'm sure you'll fill those empty spots. Enjoy the time with your family/friends. ~~Kath~~
