my dear sweet (cough) husband..

I love my husband

He has his days (like all men) when I want to strangle him but I do love him and he does love me and the kids (sometimes god only knows why..)

For those of you who dont know, we work opposite shifts. I have a regular 9 ~ 6 job and he works from 2:30 ~ 11:30 - he leaves the house most of the time around 1:00 pm for before work meetings and then gets home anywhere between midnight and 3 am depending on emergencies at work...

He also works 6 days a week at LEAST and sometimes 7 days a week so we dont see much of each other unless one of us wakes up early or stays up late...

When I cook dinner at night - i always put him a plate in the microwave cause even that late at night - that is his dinner time - and then he watches tv for a couple hours then comes to bed usually as I am getting up for work...

For the last month - he has been leaving me notes at night before he goes to bed for me to see when I leave the house in the morning..

One day last week? I didnt cook dinner - so there was nothing in the microwave..

And I got this note.....I lost it but I can you tell what it said -

Kelly,

Thanks for nothing - I had to eat frozen waffles for dinner - I still love you tho - Have a Great Day Beautiful-

Love

Wayne

SUCH A COMEDIAN THIS MAN I LOVE - SUCH A COMEDIAN - :)

  4. That's so sweet that Wayne leaves you notes. My Dad worked 2nd shift for years and that's how Mom and him communicated for the most part. He'd normally stop in to her work for a few minutes before heading to his job which was 30 minutes away.

BTW my favorite is the no dinner note! ROFL! That is sooo classic and fabulous! hehe!!
