My last post

was almost a week ago.... YIKES!

I have been very busy....

I will probly sneak one in at work today ;)

I have read a few this week but have not commented many at all if any...

Went to Sunday School yesterday morning and then to church....

Out to lunch with a friend and her kid and my two kids and courtney and kale and my mom.... accepted a 2nd part time job.....I start that on Tuesday....

Back home again to do a little laundry and a few other piddly things...

Cooked sloppy joes and onion rings for dinner and was in bed by 10:30.....

About to get ready for work now and drop the kids at school and swing by and pick up Cassey from Heather's where she babysat all weekend....and go to work..

About to start my week :)

KD's bday is tomorrow...

she will be 17....

Where the hell does the time go....



She used to be the sweetest child...lol....now? she has her moments but mostly she is bitchy...lol...but she comes by it honestly...I have been known to be a little snappy catty bitchy at times..... @@....



I went and ordered her cake today....

1/2 sheet....white ganache.....and this pattern on top.....

Sort of...We had to make some adjustments...but it will be pretty.... This is what we did the invitations in....with parchment paper on top....they turned out cute cute cute...


Now i have to figure out food and drinks and logistics and music...and how not to piss off the neighbors with 25 - 30 teenagers in my backyard on a Saturday night :)

I have to buy party favor thingys....dont know what yet...

I have to buy plates and napkins and balloons and streamers....

I ahve to decide on food....

I am the Queen of last minute parties...

They wear me out ....the kids jsut wear me out...

What the hell am I going to do when they are gone?

Sunday Morning

It is Sunday morning...

I have let my dog out to potty....

Seen my neighbor putting up a new larger privacy fence...

Watched two men attempt to roller blade past my house...

One almost had a stroke right in front of me.. :) and then he tried to skate around my sunday paper that I still have not picked up...lol

I think I will leave it there until he gets back so maybe he will trip over it this time :)

40 yr old men who look like that really really should not attempt rollerblading together on a Sunday morning in suburbia....lol

Whats on the agenda today?

Trying to decide what to wear in the morning....

Cleaning my house.....

Making a mum and a garter.....for RHHS homcoming that is this week....

Putting out our halloween decorations....

and of course...

I will have to cook a couple times today....lol....

i have a job interview/breakfast Monday morning at 8:30 am... :)

I knew I would not stay unemployed for long :)

Cross your fingers ~ wish me luck ~ and think about me :)

The position is with the same company that KC works for....

Not sure yet what I will be doing...

Not sure yet what my pay will be....

Not sure yet what my hours will be.....

I do however know that it is within 2 miles of my house...

The hours are part time and flexible around my family.....

And the pay will be enough to make my truck payment which is all i flippin want :)

Wednesday morning randomness....

1. RW and the kids are all asleep.....




2. I have taken Alexander the wonder puppy outside to potty....




3. I ate 4 pretzels for breakfast....not so much working for me...need sustenance




4. I have lots of laundry to fold....




5. Dishwasher needs to be loaded and unloaded....




6. How many glasses can 5 people use in one night? Good lord....




7. I need to put my black eye peas on the stove to cook.....




8. I am making Hoppin' John for dinner with cornbread muffins....




9. It is A's favorite...




10. The reason the kids are still asleep? No school...it is fair day in Rockwall Texas....




11. RW MIGHT get this weekend off.....I hope so.....
